George Massey Tunnel Replacement 2012 - Present (ongoing)

Location: Richmond, BC & Vancouver/Lower Mainland, BC

Hired By: BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) - South Coast Region

Project scope: Replacement of the George Massey Tunnel with a new bridge spanning the Fraser River, decommissioning the existing tunnel, and improvements to the Highway 99 corridor.

Our role: Sun Coast has been providing project advisory services since 2012, starting with the initial planning, consultation and reference concept development. We are currently providing project management services, technical input for project scope definition, business case, and procurement strategies.
